Xeraak Triarchy Hunchback Gun Cyborgs

Description

Hunchbacks are the long-range fire support infantry the Xeraak Triarchy call upon to deal with a particularly difficult foe. Unlike similar units found in the armies of the other Primary Powers who tend to be dedicated to a specific task, be it anti-tank or anti-personnel, Hunchbacks can be proficient at both. Their wide-bore plasma casters can be utilised to launch different types of plasma round – the ‘bolt’ is faster, more accurate and hits a single point particularly hard, making it ideal for taking out armoured targets. The ‘dispersed’ setting instead fires a slow moving plasma globule which can be arced over intervening terrain before spilling its contents over a wide area, much in the same way as a mortar or howitzer.
