From Ashes Gaming Day Debrief and Salute 51 on the way!

Hi everyone!

This Sunday gone we had another exciting day of battling at LeadBelt as part of their birthday celebrations (there was even some cake!), with many battles fought throughout the Damnya Sector. We saw new faces and seasoned veterans alike – what better display could there be of a growing wargaming community as these fine folks?

Next up, I’m extremely excited to announce that Void Scar Miniatures will be coming along to the legendary Salute wargaming show in London – we’ll be a stand TC05. This is a big deal for us and really cannot wait to meet everyone there and talk about all things From Ashes.

To celebrate the occasion, the brand new Verse Dominion Uttagon Assault Mutants will be available well ahead of its general release in a few month’s time!

If you’d like to order anything ahead of time in order to secure it, drop us a message and we’ll get that sorted for you.

See you there!

Xeraak Triarchy First Look – Infantry

Today I thought I’d give you a brief overview of the new infantry releases from the upcoming Xeraak Triarchy Acquisition Roster.

The Centaur Scout Cyborgs are exactly that – a recon unit designed to rove ahead of the main force and find new avenues of attack. They’re particularly useful for helping big groups of Revenants get forward into the battle zone to get closer to their foes. Not only that, but Centaurs have significant firepower of their own, what with having a Plasma Carbine and a Plasma Accelerator, plus the ability to fire them both despite being infantry, making them more akin to a mobile weapons platform than anything else. Another trick up their sleeve is the ability forfeit an Order dice to ‘scan’ the nearby surroundings, enabling a friendly unit to reroll a failed Search attempt.

The Hunchback Gun Cyborgs serve as the Xeraak Triarchy’s heavy weapons infantry unit. Unlike other factions who tend to have different squads equipped for specific target types, Hunchbacks can fire their weapons in one of two settings, making them capable of dealing with different enemies. The Focussed setting is for engaging armoured targets such as tanks, whilst the Dispersed mode turns the Hunchback into mobile light artillery, firing indirectly if needed. Plus, what with being infantry, they are capable of traversing virtually any terrain to where their quarry might be hiding.

Which of these two are you most looking forward to?

Tune in on Monday to hear all about the Harvester Mech variants – see you there!

From Ashes Gaming Day Jan 14th Debrief

Hi all!

‘Twas another great day at Leadbelt yesterday, with plenty of folks playing exciting games of From Ashes. We even got to see some of the new Xeraak Triarchy units, with the Harvester Combat Mech going for a spin on the battlefield too! (And some great feedback from all those involved for its rules – thanks for that).

I’d like to just say a big ‘thank you’ to all who came along and we’ll do another one soon.

On a separate note, I just wanted to let you know that the Sol Enclaves infantry range will now come with the new gen2 infantry bases.

Right, that’s enough from me. See you soon!
