Today is Void Scar Miniatures’ birthday, and what an exciting year it’s been! From seeing the Xeraak Triarchy coming to life, new and improved versions of From Ashes being released, to ever-expanding gaming days – it’s been all go this year for sure!
Anyway, to celebrate I wanted to give you all a sneak peak of a rather gribbly and goopy future faction – the Zayken
Void Scar’s very own ‘space zombies’ faction, the Spore Slaves are one of the first encountered Zayken variants seen emerging from the depths of the fallen world of Borego.
These hideous creatures disperse the Zayken virus into the nearby area, turning those unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity into mindless slaves, furthering the Zayken’s gestalt will.
On a separate note, on October 20th, I’m extremely excited to announce that non other than Mantic Games has kindly agreed to host Void Scar Miniatures for the next From Ashes Gaming Day!
They have a fantastic venue out in Bulwell, Nottingham, with a shop on-site so you can peruse their own fantastic products while you are there. A big ‘thank you’ to Tobias and the gang for this.
